WHO WE ARE
Moorditj Moort Construction Pty. Ltd. A majority Aboriginal-owned commercial concreting and related construction services company operating across Western Australia (WA).
PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect only what we need to quote, deliver and manage projects safely and efficiently. This may include:
- Identity & contact: name, employer, role, phone, email, postal address.
Project data: site address, scope, drawings/specs, pour schedules, RFIs, delivery dockets. - Commercial details: ABN/ACN, PO numbers, invoicing, payment and remittance details, insurance certificates.
- WHS details (as reasonably necessary): inductions, tickets/licences, white cards, incident reports, permits to work.
- Recruitment: CVs, referees, right-to-work documents, licences and tickets.
- Site systems: sign-in logs, access control, GPS/telematics for plant/vehicles (where used), and CCTV on sites or premises (where signposted).
- Website/IT: IP address, device/browser type, pages visited, cookies/analytics.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive information unless necessary for WHS or legal compliance, you provide it (or consent), or the law otherwise permits.
HOW WE COLLECT INFORMATION
- Directly: tenders and quotes, emails, phone calls, meetings, prequalification forms, site inductions and sign-ins.
- From your organisation/representatives: principal contractors, builders, engineers, project managers.
- From suppliers/subcontractors and labour-hire providers where operationally necessary.
- Public sources: ASIC, ABN Lookup, professional platforms (e.g., LinkedIn).
- Automatically via our website and business systems (cookies/analytics, access logs).
WHY WE COLLECT AND USE INFORMATION
We use personal information to:
- Prepare tenders and quotes; plan, deliver and quality-assure concreting works.
- Coordinate site access, scheduling, pour logistics and delivery management.
- Manage WHS, inductions, permits, incident reporting and compliance.
Administer accounts, process payments, undertake credit checks (if applicable). - Manage supplier and subcontractor performance and compliance (insurances/tickets)
- Operate and secure our IT, plant tracking and document systems.
Communicate service updates and, where permitted, send marketing (you can opt out). - Meet legal, regulatory and contractual requirements.
DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may disclose personal information to:
- Our staff, subcontractors and suppliers to enable service delivery and site operations.
- Professional advisers (lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers and brokers).
- IT, cloud and communications providers (document management, email, backups).
- Credit reporting bodies (if we conduct credit assessments, where lawful).
- Regulators, law enforcement and government agencies as required or authorised by law.
Overseas disclosure: Some IT/cloud providers may process or store data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure such recipients handle information consistently with the APPs.
STORAGE, SECURITY AND RETENTION
We use reasonable safeguards (access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, staff confidentiality obligations, secure disposal) to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
We retain information only as long as needed for business and legal purposes (record-keeping, taxation, WHS), then securely destroy or de-identify it.

CCTV AND TELEMATICS (WHERE USED)
For safety, security, asset protection and incident investigation, we may operate CCTV at sites or premises (with signage) and use GPS/telematics on plant/vehicles. Footage and tracking data are restricted to authorised personnel and used only for legitimate operational and safety purposes, or as required by law.
